What fun we had with our Buddies and teddies in the nature trail.

What a fabulous Coronation Celebration

YR have had such a lovely day celebrating King Charles III Coronation ... As you can see from the photographs. We even had a surprise treat (courtesy of the PTFA - BIG THANK YOU!) of a magician..... all the children were mesmerised with his tricks. They also got a Coronation badge for their school caps which is a great keepsake for them.

LOVING OUR NEW PIRATE TOPIC!

Another Busy Week

The children have had a lovely week. We have been learning about doubles in numeracy, writing postcards to Tatty Ratty, playing in our travel agents (even going on a plane!!). Today we had a very special treat, Miss Riley brought in 6 baby bunnies for the children to hold. The children all held so carefully and so enjoyed the experience.

Friday Morning Adventures

What fun we had in Forest School today. Mrs Hargreaves taught the children fire safety, we toasted marshmallows and squished them between chocolate biscuits (so yummy and messy!!). The hot chocolate was delicious too especially with cream and mini marshmallows.

The children also had time to explore the woods, looking for bugs, climbing trees and digging holes. Perfect way to end a busy week of learning.

Another fun filled week learning our new sounds.

YR enjoyed celebrating and learning about Chinese New Year. The children especially loved the Chinese banquet.

YR are having a very busy enjoyable Spring Term.

The school enjoyed a visit from Andy Tooze who is an excellent Poet. He came into YR and told us some of his wonderful poems. The children had so much fun joining in with the actions and missing rhyming words.
