Wow! I can't believe we have come to the end of our school year!
The children have been amazing. We have welcomed new members to our group and sadly have to say goodbye and good luck to our Y6 boys as they go on to new adventures.
I will miss these faces around school but look forward to seeing them around Melling.

Thank You Mrs Thomas and Rebecca
Sadly, Mrs Thomas lost her husband just before Christmas last year. Mrs Thomas asked about the kind of things we do in our RISE group and to help us get some new things to do she and her lovely daughter, Rebecca, very kindly donated some money in memory of Paul. Mrs Benson went shopping! Look at the great canvas prints we are going to colour in. We will post more pictures when they are finished.
Mrs Summers came to school with the exciting news about our next trip.
We are going to spend a day at CHET. The children, and adults, had a fabulous time last year and we know this year will be just as good. The day is booked for October 19th and a letter will be sent home soon.
Welcome back everyone!
It was lovely to see you all after our summer break. I am looking forward to our lunchtime meetings each week and working on our next project.
