Netball Success

On Thursday 21st April, the school entered 2 teams into the Maghull Schools netball tournament which was run by Maghull High School. Right from the start of the tournament, our 2 teams played fantastically, showing great ability and teamwork with high quality passing and moving skills. They were so impressive in the way they worked together encouraging each other to do their best. After the group stages, both of our teams had won their groups and qualified for the final ! Mr. Millington was looking for a fence to sit on during the final and would have been very happy with a draw, but there had to be a winner, and Amira's goal resulted in a victory for the Melling yellow team against the Melling red team. Both teams will be presented with their medals next week.
