START OF TERM SEPT 21
REMINDER INFORMATION FOR START OF TERM
We are really looking forward to welcoming you and your children back on Thursday 2nd September.
As posted previously on the website these are just a few last minute reminders that may help:
START AND FINISH TIMES
8.40am YR Y1 Y2 arrive and use the playground gate into school – Y1 and Y2 children will walk around to their class and YR parents will walk their children to the classroom door
-9am Y3 Y4 Y5 Y6 arrive – Y5 and Y3 will walk to class via the playground gate; Y4 and Y6 will enter school via the Nursery path door
-12 – 1pm YR Y1 Y2 Lunch
-12.30 – 1.30pm Y3 Y4 Y5 Y6 Lunch
-3pm YR Y1 Y2 end of the school day. YR and Y1 Parents to collect children from the classroom door; Y2 children will be brought round to parents waiting by the football cage.
-3.20pm Y3 Y4 Y5 Y6 end of school day. Y6 will exit via nursery path gate; Y4 will be brought to the nursery path gate by the class teacher; Y5 will exit via playground gate; Y3 parents to wait on the main playground for the class teacher to bring them round from class.
SIBLINGS
If you have requested for siblings to be supervised in the hall before or after school – this service will start on the first day back. KS2 children (on our list) should go to the hall at 8.40am where they will be met by one of the Breakfast Club staff. KS1 children (on our list) will be taken to the hall at 3pm and parents will need to collect them from the hall at 3.20pm.
COVID GUIDANCE
As you know the rules regarding Covid have changed – these are the headlines that affect primary schools:
-bubbles are no longer required
-children will be expected to mix with other year groups (assembly, playtimes, wrap-around provision)
-masks are no longer mandatory so it will be left to an individual’s own choice
-if a child contracts Covid, the rest of the class/provision do not have to self isolate, but maybe asked to obtain a PCR.
