WOW! Melling Primary School does it again!!! Thank you so much for all the sponsor money that has been sent to school after our recent NSPCC spelling sprint challenge. Jayne from the NSPCC was amazed at how much we have managed to raise yet again. The total amount we have raised is  £1,430.15. WOW! Well done everyone. You are amazing!
 

The Book Fair arrives in school on Monday morning! From 3pm on Monday, you will be able to browse the fabulous selection of books to suit all ages and tastes! It will take place under the canopy daily, until Friday evening, and will be led by our wonderful PTFA members and Y5 and Y6 pupils. So, please support us and help us to raise our target amount of £600! Many thanks!

On Monday a special assembly was held to find out about the NSPCC and how we, at Melling, can help. We have been asked to carry out a sponsored spell: to learn a tricky list for a test sometime next week and to ask family and friends to donate money for this good cause. Not only will your child be helping this wonderful organisation, but also brushing up on spellings! Thank you for all your support, as always.
