Science Week 2021

MONDAY - Learning about rainbows and creating a rainbow with a torch and mirror in a dark classroom was fun. It was great to grow our own rainbows using absorbent paper and colours.

TUESDAY - The scientist who visited was the BEST FUN EVER! It was so exciting and we loved his incredible experiments. How AMAZING to set off a homemade rocket in the carpark!

WEDNESDAY - We experimented with oil and water and discovered that they don't mix. We made glitter sensory bottles with oil, water and glitter.

THURSDAY - We had so much fun making super soft sensory cloud dough. It was hard to do all the mixing but it was interesting to watch the ingredients combine to make a new material!

FRIDAY - We explored liquids and solids and melted chocolate to make crispy cakes today...mmm! What a great way to end the week with a fun, interesting activity - DELICIOUS too!

Welcome back everyone - it's just so good to be back!
