WHAT A GREAT TRIP BACK IN TIME
AT CROXTETH HALL
We had a BRILLIANT day at Croxteth Hall, learning about the past and about how one very rich local family lived in the past in a beautiful home near to school!
Well done children for joining in so well and asking and answering lots of great questions!
Living History!
History came alive for a whole morning in Year One when we were transported back to the Victorian times. We spent the morning as Victorian children, with the girls dressed up in pinafores and mop caps and the boys dressed up in waistcoats, neck ties and flat caps! What a fun, interesting and hands on morning we had, learning about and playing with Victorian toys and learning how to play the sort of games that Victorian children would have played. THANKS PARENTS WHO CAME IN FOR THE MORNING TOO!

Windmill Farm
What a fabulous day...and sunshine too!
Here's what Ryan wrote:
We went to Windmill farm on a coach. First I went on a big scary slide. Next we went to see some funny animals and I fed them with my hand. Then we washed our hands for our lunch. After that we went on a little train and we stopped to play at an outside play area. We played again. Finally we went home.
