Summer - Week 3
It has been another busy week in Y2 and the children have all worked very hard - well done! Y2 have written some wonderful, exciting riddles about animals and have had fun playing maths games.
It was very sad to say good by to Nathan and we wish him the best of luck in his new school.

Summer - Week 1
What a busy week it has been! Well done to all of Y2 for settling back into school after such a long break. As the Election week is very close, we will be having a Y2 election on Monday, where we will have a debate about whether there should be an extra break in the afternoon or not (photographs to follow soon).
We have spent a lot of time thinking about how we can be good friends and have happy playtimes, making sure everyone has someone to play with and we are kind to one another. I know it will be a fabulous week next week.

What a fun morning out we had at Kirby Fire Station. We learnt lots of things about how they work and how quickly they get to any emergencies.
