Note to parents (WW2 performance)
Hi Year 6 parents... just a quick note to mention that the songs and lyrics are now on the website and I appreciate that pupils have been working hard to learn their lines from the script already - thank you. I apologise that we have not had as much time in class as we originally anticipated in the run-up to the play (factoring in a moderation and other unexpected school events) and this has resulted in the play creeping up on us a little.
However, I know that with still a week to go, as long as pupils continue to work on learning their lines, that by Friday we will feel more confident and therefore able to enjoy our performance.
Thank you again for your support in preparing your children for the performance,
Mr Cleaver
Our final night is about to come to end! The children have probably had their favourite evening playing pool, ping pong and a disco! After the most challenging day yet (caving), we are, AGAIN, so proud of the way the children have worked together, showed great resilience and pushed themselves!
See you all tomorrow!
What an incredible second day! As a whole class, we have spent the afternoon on the lake, using a mixture of paddle boards and kayaks - all pupils have made us so proud with their positive attitude and engagement!
There are plenty of pictures of each group throughout the day currently uploading - if it repeatedly fails due to connection, then I will ensure they are uploaded in the morning via the reception computer!
What an amazing first day! All children have impressed greatly so far with their effort and manners. After our day activities of river scrambling and rock climbing, we enjoyed a night walk around the local area. We have just finished our hot chocolate and cake and all children are now tucked into bed after an exhausting day.
Pictures are uploading as we speak but with poor signal it may take a while.
SATs beginning on Monday!
Hi all,
Just wanted to say how proud we all pupils in year 6 for their hard work and dedication which has prepared them for their tests next week. The children are in a fantastic position and could do no more!
Therefore, I think time for revision and homework has now ended and it is time instead for pupils to have a relaxing final weekend with lots of rest and good food!
Thank you to parents for your support in what has been an amazing year of progress!
