See below for news about what's happening in Melling.
Internet safety is so important to us at Melling, therefore we invited Bullybusters in to work closely with Y5 and Y6 this morning. The children had a very informative session and messages were loud and clear: stay safe on the internet and use social media responsibly.
Check out our new E-Safety Zone for parents. This can be found in the Parent pages of the website.
Melling Junior Parish Council feel very strongly about helping those in need, and to prove their point, they are taking the lead in raising money for the Ebola appeal. Today they organised-and led- a whole school assembly, showing a video of the children in Sierra Leone who need our help. They have also designed posters to advertise Christmas Jumper Day which will take place on Friday December 12th.
So please support them and wear your (whacky!) Christmas jumper to school next Friday- and don't forget to bring in £1!
Many thanks for all your support. We are very proud of our council.
